Summary
We’re looking for a Trustee to join our Scout Group Trustee Board and help support Scouting locally.
Detailed description
What you’ll do:
- Help ensure the Scout Group is well-run, safe, and financially secure
- Support good governance and compliance with Scout Association rules and charity law
- Oversee finances, property, and risk (as part of the Trustee Board)
- Support and challenge the Group leadership constructively
- Attend Trustee meetings and the AGM
What you don’t need:
- No previous Scouting experience required
- No need to run weekly Scout meetings
What we’re looking for:
- Someone reliable, with good judgment and teamwork skills
