Befriender
Have you got an hour or so to spare? Why not become a befriender and support someone experiencing social isolation. Support can be face to face or via telephone. Induction and ongoing support available.
Flexible Cafe / Charity Shop
Support Communitea Café, Boldmere Rd, B73 5TJ . Get involved with the local community within our café setting and charity shop. Hours and days to suit.
Friendship Group Volunteer
As part of the Friends First project (combatting isolation for over 50’s) we have/aim to set up friendship groups across Birmingham. We need volunteers to help us run the groups and support individuals to fully engage in these social settings. Flexible – as little as 1.5 hours a fortnight, or hours to suit you
