🌱 Volunteer Opportunity: Better Health 4 Life (BH4L) Project Volunteer
Location: Better Pathways, 201–206 Alcester Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, B12 0NQ
Time Commitment: Minimum 1 day per week (flexible)
Are you passionate about mental health and wellbeing? Would you like to make a difference in people’s lives while gaining valuable experience in community-based mental health support?
We’re looking for enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers to support the Better Health 4 Life (BH4L) project — a community wellbeing initiative designed to help individuals improve their mental, physical, and social health through workshops, group activities, and one-to-one support.
🔹 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the delivery of wellbeing workshops (CBT, DBT, healthy living, emotional resilience, etc.)
- Welcoming and engaging participants during group sessions
- Assisting with session setup and resources
- Providing encouragement and a listening ear to those taking part
- Helping with basic admin tasks such as attendance sheets and evaluation forms
- Being a positive role model and advocate for mental wellness
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
- A warm, non-judgmental, and approachable attitude
- Interest in mental health, counselling, psychology, or community work
- Reliability and willingness to work as part of a team
- Previous experience (voluntary or paid) in a helping role is desirable but not essential
