About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced administrative volunteer to support our Young Carers team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong administrative background who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Your attention to detail, confidence with IT systems, and ability to manage multiple admin tasks will play a key part in helping us deliver high-quality events and activities for young carers in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately entering and updating data in Microsoft Excel
- Creating and formatting documents and activity materials in Microsoft Word
- Organising and managing communications using Microsoft Outlook (emails, calendars, and contacts)
- Inputting and updating records on our data management system (Charity Log)
- Sending routine emails and making follow-up phone calls to carers or external contacts
- Preparing paperwork, information packs, and materials for upcoming events and activities
Who We’re Looking For:
- A confident administrator with solid experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Someone familiar with database systems or keen to quickly learn Charity Log
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A reliable, friendly, and professional manner
- Understanding of Wufoo Forms would be beneficial

We are here to offer advice, information, training, emotional and practical support and much needed time out or respite.
