We are seeking a passionate and proactive Trustee with experience or strong interest in fundraising to join our Board.

This is a key role in helping ensure the long-term sustainability of our services. You will work collaboratively with fellow trustees and the operational team to strengthen and diversify our income streams.

Key Responsibilities

·      Provide strategic oversight of fundraising activities and income generation

·      Support the development and delivery of a sustainable fundraising strategy

·      Advise on grant applications, donor engagement, and partnerships

·      Help identify new funding opportunities (trusts, foundations, corporate, community)

·      Act as an ambassador for the charity, promoting our mission and impact

·      Ensure fundraising practices align with legal and ethical standards


About You

·      Experience in fundraising, income generation, or business development (charity or private sector)

·      Strategic thinker with good judgement and a collaborative approach

·      Commitment to the values and mission of a mental health charity

·      Willingness to contribute time, ideas, and networks

·      Previous trustee experience is welcome but not required

We are a counselling centre in the heart of Birmingham. We are dedicated to providing a low cost first class face to face counselling service for adults from Birmingham and the surrounding area, who can travel to meet a counsellor here. We are also able to provide a telephone and video counselling service. Through counselling, we can assist you with a range of issues, and have been helping in this way for over 50 years.
