Open Day volunteers support the Chamberlain Highbury Trust during open days at Highbury Hall, helping to deliver a welcoming and infomative visitor experience.
Open Days are held at Highbury Hall on the first Sunday and Monday of each month (Sundays 1 - 4pm, Mondays 10am - 1pm).
Open Days Volunteers help with setting up and packing down events, welcoming visitors, managing entry and visitor flow, answering questions, and assisting with displays or activities.
Volunteers receive a short briefing before each event. The role focuses on ensuring visitors have an enjoyable, informative experience while learning about Highbury's heritage and future plans. Volunteers gain experience in event delivery, visitor engagement, and teamwork.
A typical volunteer shift would be 9.30am - 1pm or 12.30 - 4pm.
