This role would have access to our van and you'd be delivering and collecting books from schools and organisations across the city.
Become a valued member of our team The Children’s Book Project is a grassroots charity, powered by volunteers at every stage of what we do. At our Book HQs in Birmingham we would love you to join us as a Volunteer Delivery Driver, delivering the books that make all the difference to our local schools. You could also be collecting books from our book donation hubs or other generous book donors. We are a very friendly bunch and you will be working alongside a HQ based team who will support with packing the books ready for delivery.

The Children’s Book Project is a registered charity working with settings across the UK to redistribute thousands of pre-loved and surplus books to the children and families who need them most.
Our work is rooted in sustainability. We collect books that children have outgrown or no longer read and gift them to those living in the most disadvantaged circumstances. This year, we are on a mission to donate one million books. Through our project, children in local schools are able to choose and keep books of their own, many for the first time.
