You will be helping to prepare the 3-course vegetarian community meal on for our guests. No previous experience is needed!
oodCycle is a community dining charity that provides a free 3-course vegetarian meal to our guests every week, with the aim of tackling food poverty, food waste, and social isolation and loneliness..
As a cooking volunteer, you will be guided by the Cooking Project Leader to help with the preparation of the 3-course meal using surplus food that would otherwise go to waste. No professional cooking skills required, just a proactive attitude! That said, home cooking skills certainly help!
FoodCycle Worcester takes place every Thursday with cooking volunteers supporting from 14:30-19:30 but our volunteering opportunities are flexible so you only need to sign up to the dates that suit you. Travel expenses can be reimbursed.
