Summary

Volunteers are needed to keep, The Shed, our community building open. We offer hot drinks and a warm welcome for park users.

Detailed description

Volunteers take orders, make drinks, tidy up, welcome people. Whether you want to hide in the kitchen or have a public facing role there is something for everyone.

We can even train you to be a barista if posh coffee is your thing.

Volunteering sessions are 2 hours at a time to suit you. You can be a regular or occasional volunteer. The Shed is open 7 days a week.

Full training is given.

Helping The Shed to stay open means that you are doing your bit to make our community a friendlier, happier place.

Bob, a regular volunteer says: "I started volunteering to help the community but the reverse has happened. I have greatly benefited from sharing time with other volunteers, meeting families, enjoying the park, hearing the bird song and the wind in the trees"
