Detailed description

as a Volunteer Allotment Supporter and help us grow a safe, welcoming and inclusive community space. Volunteers will support planting, watering, weeding and general garden maintenance, as well as assisting with seasonal growing projects throughout the year. You will work alongside children, young people and adults during community gardening sessions, helping to create a positive, supportive and engaging environment for all participants.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, working as part of a team and supporting community wellbeing. No previous gardening experience is required – just reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Volunteers may also help set up and tidy the space, support small group activities and encourage community involvement.

As we work with families and young people, an Enhanced DBS check is required. We can provide guidance and support with the application process. Flexible commitment options are available.
