About Inara Project

We are a group of women who recognise a disconnect between the lack in provisions for the vulnerable in our local community and the power women have to support these groups. Through encouraging girls like us to get involved in charity work, and making a difference to the lives of those in need, we aim to create a fairer and more positive society. As the saying goes “you teach a woman, you teach a generation”. We hope that we can raise the future generation to be role-models for the next. As Muslims, we also recognised a lack of a space of our own to fulfil our religious obligations of charity whilst being an inclusive and welcoming network for all, no matter their religion or beliefs.
