A few days of your time can mean the world to someone else. Join our Norfolk trip as a Care Volunteer and help provide comfort, companionship, and memories
Join our trip to Norfolk (7 - 11 December) as a Care Volunteer and play a vital role in making the journey and trip safe, comfortable, and positive for the assisted traveller you are matched with.
This is a hands‑on, rewarding volunteer role where compassion, teamwork, and kindness matter far more than qualifications.
What You’ll Do
As a Care Volunteer, you will play a vital role in making the trip safe, comfortable, and positive. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting and feeding.
- Offering mobility support, including assisting with transfers and using hoists safely
- Giving companionship and emotional support, helping travellers feel included and valued
- Assisting with practical needs, mealtimes, luggage, and activity support
You don’t need to be a healthcare professional, just someone with empathy, patience, and the confidence to provide personal care and support others with dignity. Training, guidance, and support are provided.
Why It Matters
For many travellers, a Jumbulance trip is their only opportunity to get away. Your support enables them to:
- Enjoy friendship, fun, and a sense of belonging
- Travel in a safe, accessible environment designed around their needs
Yor presences turns a simple holiday into a meaningful and enriching experience for those we support.
Fundraising Requirement
To help cover the cost of travel, accommodation, and shared expenses, volunteers are asked to fundraise or contribute £295 towards the cost of their place.
Don’t worry, we offer full support with fundraising ideas and resources, and many volunteers successfully reach their target through parish events, sponsorships, and community activities.
This trip leaves from a Service Station in the Midlands, followed by additional pick up locations - to be arranged
Please feel free to message me for more information on this rewarding opportunity.
