Help us get ready for Spring. We’re looking for a volunteer to help us ensure hospice gardens and grounds are kept tidy and look beautiful
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply love spending time among flowers and nature, we’d love to welcome you to our team at the Marie Curie Hospice, West Midlands
Your efforts will not only brighten up our grounds but also bring smiles to those who cherish the therapeutic power of nature.
Availability: 2-3 hours, Tuesdays or Wednesdays
Time: Anytime between 9am and 4pm
Criteria: Minimum 16 years of age. No prior experience essential but gardening skills are considered helpful
What you'll do:
- Plant seasonal blooms
- Prune trees and shrubs
- Mow the grass and sweep pathways
- Water, clear weeds and deadhead
- Lift and clear garden waste
What you'll need:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Team spirit - positively engage with others in the gardening team
- Creative and proactive in suggesting ideas
- You want to make a positive impact
