Summary

As a Christmas Shoebox Appeal Volunteer, you will help us make December more festive by helping us prepare and pack gifts to thousands of people seeking asylum.

Detailed description

Dates: daily from 11 December to 22 December

Time slots: 9.30am to 1pm, and 1.30pm to 5pm

Address: Millennium Point, Curzon St, Birmingham B4 7AP

Parking: parking is available at Millennium Point multi-storey car park for a charge


What you will do


Complete induction on the day

Sorting, checking donated gifts for suitability e.g. age and packing into shoeboxes

Organise and wrap gifts to later be distributed to our clients

Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and policies

Volunteer as part of a diverse team

You will be an excellent candidate for this role if you


You are local to Birmingham area.

You are passionate about social justice and supporting the most vulnerable.

You have a couple of hours that week to give.

Have a positive and can-do attitude
