Moseley in Bloom Open Gardens: shifts serving tea/selling tickets

On Sunday 29th June, many stunning gardens across Moseley will be open to the public—and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make this beloved event a blooming success!

Whether you’ve volunteered before or this is your first time getting involved, we’d love to have you on board. There are lots of ways you can help—on the day, before, or after the event. You might fancy:

☕ Serving tea and cake to happy visitors (shifts for 2 people are 2 h long) 🎟️ Selling tickets (shifts for 2 people are 2.5 h long) 🧁 Baking something sweet or savoury 🌸 Welcoming guests at one of the gardens 📌 Helping out beforehand with posters and prep 📦 Giving a hand with tidy-up

As a thank-you for volunteering on a shift, you’ll receive a complimentary ticket to enjoy the gardens during your time off, connect with the community, soak up the atmosphere, and be part of something beautiful.

A Special Note to the Star Bakers: 🧁 

Moseley’s cake table has gained legendary status thanks to you! If you’ve got a signature bake (or just love an excuse to whip up something sweet or savoury), we’d be thrilled to showcase it at this year’s event. Cakes, biscuits, traybakes, pastries—we welcome it all!
