We are looking for friendly and reliable Volunteer Receptionists to support our busy community centres. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors,
Main Duties
- Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer telephone calls and respond to enquiries
- Complete IAG referral paper forms for bookings
- Support in registering clients for services and maintain accurate records
- Provide information and signpost clients to appropriate support
- Support food bank enquiries and voucher requests
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry
- Help maintain a tidy and organised reception area
What We're Looking For
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, approachable, and non-judgemental attitude
- Basic IT skills, including email and Microsoft Office
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
