Enjoy a practical, hands-on experience supporting the store with activities such as sorting stock, preparing donations, merchandising, and general help,

Volunteering at Newlife will give you the opportunity to experience the retail business at the busiest time of the year.

Become a Retail Store Volunteer for the day, and you’ll join our friendly community of staff and volunteers. By joining our community of volunteers, you can help change the lives of disabled children. Together we will make a difference.

If you’re looking for a fun opportunity for you and if you are part of a company team who want to give back, and enjoy working in a busy environment, this is the opportunity for you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting our customers

• Setting up displays in store to showcase products

• Sorting through new products and displaying stock on the shop floor

• Helping to maintain the standards of the store, keeping it clean, tidy and organised

• Highlighting the importance of the work we do and raising awareness.

• Helping with in-store fundraising activities

We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear. Shoes must be closed-toe.

We can't wait for you to join us!

About Newlife Charity for Disabled Children

Newlife provides life-changing specialist disability equipment as grants and loans to thousands of children each year. We provide grants for equipment to support disabled children in everyday life, access school and their community and experience the joy of childhood. Emergency equipment loans offer a lifeline to disabled children who have reached crisis point and urgently need help.
Our free Nurse Helpline provides support, information and signposting to key services for families when they need it most, as well as being a compassionate ear when families just need someone to listen.
We help children to interact with the world around them, communicate and stimulate development through the power of play with our sensory toy loans.
We give disabled children and their families a voice by working with decision makers and partner charities to campaign for better services and more provision, so they can enjoy a brighter future.
We provide opportunities for adults with additional needs through employment and volunteering, giving them the chance to learn new skills, interact with others in a positive and encouraging environment and to provide a means for career development
