Summary

A free ten-week course for Solihull residents aged 16-25 interested in volunteering or working in the caring industry. Focused on employment and training.

Detailed description

Calling young people between the ages of 16-25 not currently in education, training or employment.

Are you interested in careers in youth work, childcare, education and community services?

We are offering a 10-week course focused on employment and training to be ready for caring roles. 


If you would like support to move into volunteering opportunities and paid work in the health and social care sector, the course includes:


  • Sector insight
  • Mandatory training (safeguarding, paediatric first aid)
  • Confidence and life skills
  • Work experience (shadowing and support)
  • CV writing and help applying for jobs. 
  • Progression into volunteering, training, employment or apprenticeships 

This will run at: Three Trees Community Centre, Heddingham Grove, Chelmsley Wood, B37 7TP

On: Wednesday afternoons (dates to be confirmed)
