The primary responsibility of a Radio Lollipop Volunteer is to provide care, comfort, play and entertainment for children and young people in hospital.Detailed description
Join our team and help bring care, comfort, play, and entertainment to children and young people in hospital. Dedicate at least two hours a week to make their stay brighter and better. As a volunteer, you’ll uphold our core values—patient focus, compassion, integrity, respect, and innovation—and work as part of a care team that puts the welfare of children first.
Together, we’ll promote the importance of play, support children and families, and help make a meaningful impact. Be a part of something special with Radio Lollipop! This role is has face to face contact with children doing play, crafts, music, balloons, stories and much more. There is an opportunity to present on live radio and use our ovation system to develop live programmes broadcast to the kids in hospital. If you want experience of working directly with children and contributing to a supportive team, this role is for you.
