Publicity Organiser for Reading Charity

Our mission is to help adults learn to read. As much as 1 in every 6 adults struggle to read. Our coaches can change the lives of such adults by working with them on a one-to-one basis twice a week in a local library. This can open new doors for them to all sorts of new opportunities in life, raising their confidence in dealing with all aspects of day-to-day live; improving their mental health.

As Publicity Organiser you will be helping your local community understand what a Read Easy group does; how local people can get the reading support they need; and how volunteers can help. You will be primarily using social media effectively to raise awareness and publicise your group. You may also liaise with the media, find opportunities to talk with local people and agencies. You will be supported by other members of our team.
