About Science and Technology for Persons with Special Needs Initiative

Science and Technology for Persons with Special Needs Initiative (Charity No. 1176716) is a UK-registered charity dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities through inclusive access to science, technology, and education. The organisation supports individuals—particularly those with visual impairment—through training in assistive technology, digital skills, and Braille literacy. STPSNI also runs community outreach programmes, awareness events, and a charity shop to promote inclusion and raise funds for its activities. Working in the UK and internationally, the charity collaborates with partners to expand opportunities, reduce barriers, and improve independence and quality of life for people with special needs.
