The Support Coordinator plays a central role in providing personalised support and guidance to individuals, helping them improve wellbeing, build confidence, and strengthen social connections. This role involves a mix of one-to-one support, mentoring, and facilitating group activities that encourage community engagement and reduce social isolation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering regular befriending calls to provide emotional support, companionship, and active listening
- Offering one-to-one mentoring tailored to individual goals, promoting personal development and independence
- Organising and facilitating friendship or peer support groups to foster connections and social interaction
- Supporting individuals to access relevant community services, resources, or activities
- Maintaining accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding standards
- Promoting positive wellbeing, resilience, and inclusion within the community
