Volunteering at our donation sessions – supporting those coming to collect their bikes to choose them and the accessories we provide.
As a volunteer at our bike donation sessions, you’ll support people collecting their bikes by helping them select the right one for their needs, along with the accessories we offer. Volunteers with multilingual skills—especially in languages frequently spoken by refugees and asylum seekers locally—are particularly appreciated.
Sessions are generally held on Wednesdays, 2–3 times a month, from 11am to 4pm.
Our charities core mission is to get refugees cycling and we do this through refurbishing second-hand bikes and donating them to refugees and asylum seeking people. Come help our friendly and knowledgeable team refurbish bikes and support the cause!

About The Bike Project
We take in secondhand bikes, refurbish them and donate them to refugees and asylum seekers. We also offer Pedal Power, cycling lessons for woman and non-binary people and a cycling befriending programme called Bike Buddies.
