About The Greenhouse at Barnes Close
The Greenhouse at Barnes Close is an ecumenical Retreat Centre, run by a small charity. We have day and residential retreats, community gatherings and more for groups and individuals to find a space to explore faith and find peace; for people who come to rest, reflect and grow.
Our volunteers are so important in helping to look after and care for our five acres of beautiful grounds, our 120 year old home (part of the Cadbury family legacy), and of course our visitors.
Could you be a part of our growing group of volunteers as we dream, garden, prune, paint, cook, clean, administrate, fix and have a great time together in a peaceful place.
We have monthly volunteer days on Sundays and Mondays, so it could be just 1 day a month that you commit to us. Alternatively, we have some regular weekly opportunities for individuals.
