To provide safe, reliable minibus transport services for St Paul's Community Development Trust clients and service users on an as-needed basis
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport pupils to our out of school club and as required passengers to and from community activities and events.
- Prior to journey complete vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness of the minibus.
- Ensure passenger safety, including assisting with boarding/alighting.
- Complete accurate journey logs and report any vehicle defects or incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the Trust professionally.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (held for minimum 2 years, fewer than 6 penalty points).
- MIDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) certificate or willingness to obtain. We are able to provide MIDAS training.
- Good communication skills and patient, friendly manner.
- Flexible availability.
- Be over 21 years old.
- Have a D1 on your driving licence
Desirable
- Previous experience driving minibuses or transporting vulnerable passengers.
- First Aid qualification.
- Knowledge of the local area.
