Summary

We are looking for volunteers to support the running of our Warm Welcome Space over the winter months.

Detailed description

The Warm Welcome initiative was originally set up to support communities as the cost of living crisis deepened– it has become so much more than this! Here is a quote from the Warm Welcome website: Warm Welcome Spaces are places full of human warmth, belonging, connection and hope. Thousands of lives are being touched by Warm Welcome Spaces - they are the heartbeat of local communities, buzzing with life and bringing people together.

We are very excited to be able to support our local community once again this year with our Warm Welcome offering. Our ethos is very much ‘come for the warmth, stay for the welcome! ‘

We provide toast and cereals, hot and cold drinks, newspapers, free Wifi, board games, children’s crafts etc. and adopt a help yourself ethos.

As a volunteer you would be supporting the setting up and clearing away of the space and getting involved in the fun and banter that bringing our community together brings!
