We are looking to offer a range of activities to support the well-being of the residents of an Asylum Centre in Sutton Coldfield.
The volunteering would be on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm – 5pm (activities will run 2.30pm – 4.30pm).
Activities will include…
Week One: Chatty Café
A chance to welcome, to chat and to offer refreshments. As well as conversation the residents may also like to practice their reading and writing.
Week Two: Film Afternoon
A chance to share English speaking and also foreign language films, offering refreshments too.
Week Three: Outdoor Games on the Field
Unfortunately, the Asylum Centre owner won’t allow any ball games so a chance to use our field to play games like football, cricket, badminton, and volleyball. Volunteers
would be available to chat, help set up and put away and join in if they so wish!
Week Four: Support the Work of the Community Garden.
