The Marketing Officer will help promote our organisation, services, volunteering opportunities and community activities through engaging digital content.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and manage social media content across our platforms.
- Create engaging posts, graphics, photos and short videos.
- Help plan and promote campaigns, events and community activities.
- Create video content for social media, including interviews, promotions and volunteer/member stories.
- Support recruitment campaigns to attract new volunteers and team members.
- Help promote volunteering opportunities and encourage people to join the team.
- Grow our online presence and engagement with disabled people and the wider community.
- Work with other team members to gather stories, updates and content.
- Ensure content reflects our values, is inclusive and accessible.
- Monitor social media engagement and provide basic updates on what content is performing well.
The role is ideal for someone who is creative, confident with social media and interested in using digital content to make a positive difference in the community.
