Summary
Required 1 day per week, Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 2:30pm.Detailed description
Based at any of our activity centres located in Moseley (B13 8JL), Rubery (B45 9SN) or Sutton Coldfield (B72 1YH). The role involves:
- To assist at the site and Offsite as required.
- To assist the Brain Injury Skills Coach in preparing and delivering activity sessions, ensuring everything is replaced as found.
- To Assist the Brain Injury Skills Coach with the supervision of clients, working in groups or individually
- To ensure Health and Safety guidelines are followed to provide a safe environment for Clients, Staff and Volunteers.
- Complete activity monitors after each session, ensuring due confidentiality and discretion
- Inform the Brain Injury Skills Coach of any noticed changes in behaviour, risks or ability etc.
- Assist Clients with any personal needs as required, ensuring safety, comfort and respecting their dignity at all times. (only if agreed to do this task)
- Interact socially with Headway Clients during non-activity periods to maintain a happy social environment.
- Participate in HBS Training and Team Building days.
- Other general tasks as may be requested from time to time.
- Help with Fundraising events.
