As a Community Volunteer, I supported members of our friendship and social groups both in person and online. I helped organise and run smaller meet-ups, encouraged participation, and made sure everyone felt welcome and included. I provided one-to-one and group support, helped people communicate confidently, and supported engagement in our online social groups. My role focused on building positive relationships, reducing isolation, and creating a safe, friendly community where people could connect and support each other.
