Can you support our annual Neighbourhood Festival and help us to raise awareness about climate change, environment, wellbeing and green spaces in the city?

The festival takes place from Friday 26th June 2025 – Sunday 28th June 2026 and we would welcome volunteer support over each of the three days between 10am - 5pm.

The Neighbourhood Futures festival brings together local residents, community organisations, businesses, artists, educators, and decision-makers to share ideas, learn from each other, and take action for a better future. Now in its fourth year, the festival will spotlight local action and urban green spaces, creating opportunities for all voices to be heard in the climate conversation. People of all ages are invited to join, experiment and take action to discover how our shared spaces can support healthier, fairer and greener urban futures.

On the Friday the festival will opens with a deep dive into place-based climate action, bringing together local organisations, urban green and growing spaces, community groups, residents and anyone passionate about their neighbourhood and environment.

On Saturday and Sunday, the community comes together to celebrate nature and togetherness with two days full of family-friendly play and exploration. Storytelling, theatre, music, outdoor play, Forest School sessions, wellbeing activities, arts and crafts, and hands-on experiences will bring sustainability to life for people of all ages and backgrounds.
