Detailed description

Key Responsibilities:

·      Type and word-process various documents and electronic information.

·      Providing administration support

·      Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.

·      Manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications.

·      Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organisational operations and effective service to connecting groups.

·      Organising and co-ordinating the meeting room diary.

·      Deal with general enquiries.

·      Screen telephone calls, e-mails and faxes and deal with them if they don’t need to be referred to another individual or department

·      Handling correspondence and ensuring letters are responded to in a timely and appropriate manner

· Liaise extensively with professionalism and diplomacy with individuals at all levels

·      Diary and email management

·      Liaise with suppliers and client

· Help prepare the organisation’s newsletter and update website

Person Specification

  • Strong interest in community/charity sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good writing skills, with experience in preparing reports or similar documents.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and a commitment to the values of The Community Foundation.
