To plan and deliver high-quality youth engagement and sports programmes that promote physical health, personal development, social inclusion, and community part

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver youth clubs, sports sessions, holiday programmes, and community events. 
  • Encourage participation from young people of all abilities and backgrounds. 
  • Act as a positive role model and mentor. 
  • Support young people in developing confidence, leadership, teamwork, and life skills. 
  • Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns. 
  • Build positive relationships with schools, families, and community partners. 
  • Recruit and support volunteers where appropriate. 
  • Monitor attendance, evaluate programme outcomes, and prepare reports. 
  • Ensure activities comply with health and safety requirements. 
  • Assist in securing funding and promoting youth programmes. 

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with children and young people. 
  • Sports coaching or youth work qualification (desirable). 
  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice. 
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills. 
  • Ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of young people.
