Detailed description

We are looking for a female volunteer with skills in dance or yoga to support our Women’s Wellness Wednesday programme.

These weekly sessions give women a safe space to relax, move, and focus on their wellbeing. Whether through dance or yoga, your sessions will help boost confidence, positivity, and health.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead engaging and accessible movement sessions (dance or yoga – your choice)
  • Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for women of all ages and abilities
  • Encourage relaxation, fun, and body positivity

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in dance, yoga, or fitness (formal qualifications are a bonus, not essential)
  • Passion for women’s health and wellbeing
  • Warm, encouraging, and inclusive approach

About Essence Youth Mentoring CIC

Essence Youth Mentoring CIC empowers women and young people through education, health, and wellbeing initiatives. Our new Essence Cares: Women’s Wellness Wednesdays clinic offers free prenatal and antenatal checks, blood pressure monitoring, emotional wellbeing support, and community health awareness. We are seeking passionate volunteers, including NHS professionals, students on placement, and community members, to help us deliver vital services to women in Birmingham.
