Pitch 2 Progress CIC is a community-focused organisation based in Bordesley Green, Birmingham, dedicated to supporting young people through sports, mentoring, and employability programmes. By providing structured activities such as football, girls-only boxing, and NFL Flag Football, the organisation promotes physical well-being, teamwork, and personal development. In addition to sports, Pitch 2 Progress delivers school-based mentoring and vocational training, equipping young people with essential life skills and career opportunities. The organisation has transformed Green Lane Playing Fields from a derelict site into a thriving community hub, featuring sports pitches and an eco-friendly centre made from repurposed shipping containers. With strong partnerships, including Birmingham City Council and StreetGames, Pitch 2 Progress continues to expand its impact, recently launching a warm space initiative and a morning coffee club for mothers. Moving forward, the organisation aims to enhance its facilities, secure long-term funding, and further develop opportunities that benefit the local community.
