Volunteer Photographer - 13th May 2026

As a charity, we want to be able to capture as much of our work on camera as possible so we can share all the amazing things that go on more widely.

In this role you will travel to an events on 13th May at Birmingham Symphony Hall. Your photos will then be shared by Mencap externally and internally to spread the word about our work and improve and update our photo bank. ​​

Who We're Looking For: We are looking for someone who is available on 13th May 2026 to take photo and take promotional or stock photos.

You will need to have access to your own camera and ideally have some experience taking pictures. You will be happy that the photos you take will be for Mencap and not personal use. ​

What You'll Learn: You can get experience of photographing events and working in a professional setting within the external communications and marketing teams whilst also getting to learn about learning disability and what we do at Mencap.
