Bring your food waste & make compost in our (secret) city centre garden. Wear shoes & clothes for outdoors. We provide equipment & refreshments.
You'll help the Compost Co-ordinator to turn food waste into compost using 5 different composting systems. We can suggest a system for your home/ community group/ workplace AND we'll be actively addressing climate change ... food waste in landfill produces powerful greenhouse gases.
We use the compost to grow food & medicinal plants. Join us to learn how to grow a range of plants while we care for the garden. It's an oasis in the city centre, full of birds, trees and plants.
