Got some DIY skills and spare time? Seeking someone to help us keep our wonderful community building, The Warehouse, in good shape and functioning well!
Do you have some DIY skills and a bit of time to spare midweek?
Our wonderful community building, The Warehouse in Digbeth, always needs some TLC and odd jobs doing to keep it functioning well as a space for all the meetings, office activity and green enterprise we host. Tasks vary hugely and can depend on your interests and skills but might include:
- fixing things such as broken shelves or dodgy door handles
- tidying and sorting
- Carpentry
- Decorating
- Repotting our indoor plants.
Times for volunteering are flexible – we’d prefer a weekly or fortnightly regular commitment for a few weeks, but can work around other options.
Volunteering can help you develop skills, feel more confident, combat isolation and give you something extra on your CV. Tea, fun, interesting challenges and good company guaranteed!
