About The Springfield Project

We are a charity based in the heart of Sparkhill, Birmingham. We provide a range of services and programmes which aim to combat poverty and help people to lead happy and healthy lives. We aim to help show God’s love in our community through practical service and action.


The Springfield Project is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff, volunteers, and partners to share this commitment.

 

All volunteering roles are subject to:


  • An enhanced DBS check and Overseas checks if necessary.
  • Verification of identity
  • References – one of which should be a professional reference (for example - current or previous employer, education establishment, or training provider)
  • Details of any qualifications and employment history
  • Completion of safeguarding training before starting.

 

All prospective volunteers will be required to complete a criminal self-disclosure form ahead of interview
