Summary

The Springfield Project Place of Welcome is part of a network of local community groups providing a place where all people feel safe to belong and connect

Detailed description

We would love for some of our volunteers to join the Place of Welcome (our adults’ community group) to help with Admin tasks – data entry and registering new attendees onto our online database system.

Every Thursday term time

12:45 pm – 3:00 pm

About Place of Welcome:

This is a friendly community group for adults in the local area, where people can come for tea and a chat, play games, enjoy crafts, and receive Social Care advice. The food prepared during the cooking group is then served to everyone for lunch.

We are specifically looking for volunteers who can support with:

  • Admin tasks – data entry and registering new attendees
  • Confidently using tablets and the internet
  • Be confident in speaking to service users

This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to gain admin and customer service experience

If you have any questions, please contact Samina Millward, who will send you a link to the application form.
