The Springfield Project Place of Welcome is part of a network of local community groups providing a place where all people feel safe to belong and connect

Detailed description

Volunteers needed for our Place of Welcome


Place of Welcome is a group for adults in the local community, where they can come for a tea and chat, play games and makes crafts, and receive Social Care advice. They are also served a hot meal.


This is held at The Springfield Project, in St Christopher's

Church


We would like some volunteers who are good at any of

the following to join us!


• Being friendly and talking with people

• Good with arts/crafts (creative)

• Help with the cooking group

• Helping to set up/clear away

• Admin – data entry and registering new attendees.


This could potentially be good experience for anyone hoping to move in to social care work or any work with adults.
